Earth Week 2024

Nominations now closed

We are so grateful to our network for giving back during Earth Week! In return for each share, ISSP agreed to give a free year of membership to an individual who lives in a low-income economy country.

We reached out to winners directly with membership details, and we hope to feature them soon!

Earth Week 2024

Join the ISSP community in giving back

Starting on 22 April, millions of people around the world will gather together to celebrate this beautiful planet we live on. As part of ISSP, we know you treat every day as if it's earth day — working continuously to steward our natural resources for the next generation. This year, we want to see your impact and double your efforts as you give back.

How it works

During Earth Week (22-27 April), share how you're celebrating and caring for the earth on social media. This could be all kinds of actions, from working at your desk on sustainability projects, to teaching students about environmental action, to getting outside to volunteer! We WANT people to see that there's all kinds of ways to give back.

To thank you for spreading Earth Week enthusiasm, ISSP will give a free membership to an individual who lives in a low-income economy country. Just tag ISSP in your social post , so we can add your "donation" to the list.

FAQs & Terms

  • What is a low-income economy membership?

ISSP offers memberships at discounted rates for individuals who reside in low or middle income economies as defined by the World Bank. See discounts here.

  • How will I know that ISSP saw my post and it was counted towards the free memberships?

ISSP will comment on your post, and thank you for your impact. This will let you know that your "donation" was counted.

  • Which social channels should I use?

ISSP monitors LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter). You can tag us on any of these platforms, and we will see your post.

  • Is there a cap on how many free memberships will be given away?

Each person who shares a post = one free membership. One person cannot create multiple posts to donate multiple memberships.

ISSP is ready to give away up to 50 free memberships to applicants from low-income economy countries. If we hit that goal before the week is over, we will share this publicly with our community.

  • How will you select the individuals who receive the free memberships?

After Earth Week ends, ISSP will launch an application form for individuals from low-income economies to apply for a free one-year membership. We will also ask for consent to share their stories or spotlight them as new members, so you can see your impact.
