Proof of commitment to sustainability for ISSP organizational members

To align with the mission and values of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP), all ISSP organizational members must demonstrate a commitment to sustainability before joining the program. 

This commitment can be demonstrated in one of the following ways: 

1. By sharing a public-facing sustainability, ESG, corporate responsibility, or similar report that is no more than two years old
2. By publishing a C-suite approved commitment to sustainability on the organization’s official website or through a press release
3. By providing the ISSP team with an internal strategy for improving actions toward sustainability

By requiring the display of a sustainability commitment, ISSP aims to enhance accountability, inspire stakeholder confidence, and drive continuous improvement in sustainability performance across organizational members. Outside of this requirement, ISSP does not vet or warrant the practices and reporting of organizational members.

We reserve the right to approve, deny, or revoke membership and revise this criteria at any time at ISSP's sole discretion.
