Chhavi Maggu, MEng, SEP

Chhavi Maggu is a Sustainability Strategy Manager at Accenture's London office. She primarily works on energy transition and sustainability topics across natural resources sectors with global organisations on topics including sustainable value chains, climate risk assessment, and decarbonisation strategies. Chhavi is currently seconded to the Climate Champions team supporting the UN Climate Change High Level Champions for COP28, where she leads engagement in the Metals and Mining sector covering the critical minerals agenda in the context of the just clean energy transition.


Chhavi graduated from University College London with first class honours to earn a Master’s of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering. Her masters work included a year at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she conducted research on carbon dioxide capture materials. She is a Sustainability Excellence Professional (SEP) credential-holder as well as certified in Analytics-Powered Strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and Business Strategy from INSEAD. Chhavi’s passion for environmental sustainability led her to align her professional career with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, including work with innovation labs, such as UNLEASH and +Acumen's programme on designing for sustainability and social impact.
