ABOUT THE EVENT


In today's business landscape, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors play a pivotal role in shaping corporate responsibility and stakeholder relations. This course, led by the International Institute of Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility (IICSR), is designed to equip you with the fundamental knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively integrate ESG principles into organizational strategy.


You will gain an understanding of specific ESG frameworks, how they match stakeholder expectations, and how you can demonstrate progress towards the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in a profitable, impactful way.


Note: This live course is hosted by ISSP, but all training and materials are handled by IICSR and their trainer, Caroline Shalitari. Based out of India and the USA, IICSR assists companies on ESG, CSR and sustainability project implementation, advisory, reporting and training.

Agenda


This course consists of five live sessions, held daily from 18 to 22 March. Each session begins at 8:00 PM Eastern Time and is 2 hours long.


  • Day 1 - Introduction to ESG and various reporting standards - GRI, IR, TCFD, SASB, CDP
  • Day 2 - E indicators in all reporting standards (Exercise: Develop E indicator in all reporting for a specific company)
  • Day 3 - Social and governance - generic indicators in all reporting standards (Exercise: Develop S and G indicators to use in reporting for a specific company)
  • Day 4 - Panel discussions and case studies: S&P, CERES, Tesla, Facebook*, Salesforce*
  • Day 5 - Presentations, group discussion and certificates
