Showcase your membership and can easily connect with other members! It can also be a helpful way for potential employers to see that you are committed to sustainable change.

Written instructions

• Pull up your LinkedIn profile.
• Go to "Add profile" and choose "Additional."
• Select "Add organizations."
• Type in "International Society of Sustainability Professionals."
• Under "Position held," specify if you are an individual member, student member, or organizational member.
• If you are an organizational member, associate it with your current role or university.
• Choose membership as ongoing and set the start date.
• In the description, copy and paste a brief overview from the ISSP website. "ISSP is the world’s leading network of sustainability professionals. We work together to provide the community, training, and tools needed to meet goals and create sustainable change."
• Save your changes.
• Scroll down to the bottom of your profile to view the added organization section.
• Cautionary Notes:
• Ensure the accuracy of the membership details entered.
• Do not misrepresent your membership status.
• Avoid sharing sensitive information in the description.
• If you decide to not renew your membership in the future, please update your LinkedIn profile to reflect this.
• Tips for Efficiency:
• Have the ISSP website open to easily copy the description.
• Double-check all details before saving.
• Regularly update your LinkedIn profile with any changes in membership status.
